What Is Gold Filled?
Gold filled is the best quality of gold available on the market besides solid gold. A thick layer of gold is applied to a base metal creating a long-lasting material. It is tarnish resistant and great for sensitive skin or allergies to metals. Gold filled materials wear, look and last just like solid gold when cared for properly and contain 100x more gold than Gold Plate or Vermeil.
How Do I Care For My Gold Filled Jewelry?
To prolong the life of each piece, avoid getting it wet - this includes with perfume, oils, hairspray, water and especially chlorine. These will wear on the jewelry and dull the materials.
Do You Offer Custom Orders?
Custom orders are always welcome! Please send an email to eleni@misselenious.com with any inquiries and your request will be accommodated to the best of my ability. I will notify you of charges and a time line for delivery. Custom orders may take longer to ship.
How Do I Know What Size I Want?
For accurate sizing try:
- Measuring a piece of jewelry you have of your own for comparison.
OR
- Use a piece of string and wrap it around the area you would like the piece to fit then measure that length against a ruler or tape measure. For bracelets add ¼ inch to the measured length.
Most pieces come with a 1” extension chain so choose the length that your measurement fits into.

The materials used are naturally occurring or handmade and can differ slightly from one to another. What you see in the picture may not be the exact piece you receive but will be as similar as possible. Other pieces pictured are not included in the price unless specified, but can be found in the shop listings. Crystal properties are not for medical use but merely a spiritual aid.
